For property owners, there are various funding options available when they want to improve the security technology of their residential property. For upgrading a house with burglary-resistant measures, such as installing break-in-resistant windows and glass doors, funding can be applied for from the KfW(Reconstruction Credit Institute). In the coming years, the federal government is providing 30 million euros for this purpose. The grants range from 200 to a maximum of 1,000 euros.

Attention: Both material and labor costs are eligible for funding! The requirement is, of course, that the work is carried out by a certified professional company. The KfW supports the installation of house or apartment doors under its funding program “Age-Appropriate Renovation”; securing windows against burglary can be subsidized under the program “Energy-Efficient Renovation.”
In general, material and labor costs incurred for retrofitting burglary-resistant measures are tax-deductible! If you are building your own property, remember to plan burglary protection measures such as windows or entrance doors directly during construction – this is financially more efficient than retrofitting.

The professionals at Amper Ausfperrdienst in Munich are happy to advise you in detail on security technology – whether for retrofitting or new construction projects. We are glad to arrange a non-binding on-site consultation!
