Keyless Go-System
29. January 2016A “keyless-go system” ensures that a car can be opened very comfortably because, as the name suggests, a key is no longer required. The car key can therefore safely remain in your pants pocket or handbag.
What sounds extremely practical, however, does not only have advantages. Very skilled car thieves are able to intercept radio signals and steal the car that way without having to get hold of the corresponding car key. At a later point in time, additional keys can then be programmed by using and manipulating the on-board software.
In many cars that feature keyless-go systems, the corresponding function can be deactivated.
